Ambrosia releases DEFCON Mac update
August 9, 2007 - 14:31 PDT   Ambrosia Software has announced the release of DEFCON 1.4.3, the latest version of its online, competitive, multiplayer strategy game based around the theme of thermonuclear armageddon. "The game, inspired by the 1983 cult-classic film, WarGames, superbly evokes the tension, paranoia and suspicion surrounding the Cold War era.'" This update offers improvements which should help with problems creating games on a local network, and fixes a potential exploit where fleets could be made to sail through land masses if sent to certain hotspots.
