Target pulls Mac mini from online store
January 25, 2005 - 21:09 PST
Target has halted sales of Apple's Mac mini just days after adding the low-cost system to its online store. As first reported by MacMinute last week, Target was previously offering both Mac mini configurations--the 1.25GHz/40GB and 1.42GHz/80GB models--for their list prices of US$499 and $599. A 10 percent off coupon code was available that dropped those prices to $450 and $540. Target has totally removed all mention of the mini from its site and provided no reason for pulling the items.
